Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/27/2012(UTC) Posts: 3		My freezer started making a buzzing and clicking sound right after it shuts off. It also seems to be cycling too often. I timed the cycles at 7 minutes on and 7 minutes off. About 20 seconds after it shuts off, I hear a buzzing sound for about 4 seconds then a click. I can hear the oil moving and the freezer is staying cold. Could it be the starter relay?

Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 5/27/2012(UTC) Posts: 3		That was my first thought. Changing the thermostat setting didn't change the way the freezer is acting. It has been set at the lowest setting of 1 for nearly all of its life.
