About a year ago our dishwasher quit washing dishes. On any cycle it does the same thing. The water fills and then makes motor sounds like it is washing but the lower and upper water arms do nothing. Also at the end of cycles it empties the water. Thanks you in advance for your assistance in diagnosing our dishwasher. Val in NC

Remove the bottom panel and touch the main motor to verify if it's working during the wash cycle. Post the results.

Remove the lower spray arm, the spray arm support and the glass trap. Lift the filter up to remove. remove 3 screws and lift the pump cover off. Check the impeller. If it's moving very freely, the motor assembly has to be replaced. - The motor kit Part number: 154859101
