Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 4/20/2012(UTC) Posts: 4		Matag SDG3606AWW Dryer I have just replaced the (1) motor (2) belt (3) drum support rollers (4) drum glides and felt (5) idler arm and pulley assembly and (6) spring. The dryer will now start and the motor will turn the drum but when I put in a normal load the drum will not turn. any suggestions.

Matag's adivce for this model is that the ribs of the belt go against the drum "NOT Away" as the forums' diagram shows. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dryer-repair/25860-dryer-belt-diagrams.html Please change the information as I'm sure it has caused others problems similar to mine.When I reversed the belt with the ribs facing the drum the the drum turns with a full load and the dryer works great. thanks for your response
