Matag SDG3606AWW Dryer I have just replaced the (1) motor (2) belt (3) drum support rollers (4) drum glides and felt (5) idler arm and pulley assembly and (6) spring. The dryer will now start and the motor will turn the drum but when I put in a normal load the drum will not turn. any suggestions.

Hi.
Check if the belt installed correctly and if the drum turns freely. .

Hi. There is no miracles. Please double check everything you installed. If all checks OK - then, possibly you have bad motor. The motor Part number: 2200376
Thank you. Simon.

FYI, the belt diagram in the forums post for this model #SDG3606AWW is wrong. Matag's adivce for this model is that the ribs of the belt go against the drum "NOT Away" as the forums' diagram shows. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/dryer-repair/25860-dryer-belt-diagrams.html Please change the information as I'm sure it has caused others problems similar to mine. When I reversed the belt with the ribs facing the drum the the drum turns with a full load and the dryer works great. thanks for your response
