We were having some difficulty with our Maytag clothes washer. Cloths dripping wet, a lot of wobble. Upon inspection I found a hand full of white powdery plastic dust like substance on the bottom plate inside the cabinet. I replaced the snubber and reassembled. Now the agitator will not turn. I tried all settings, regular wash, wrinkle free wash and delicate wash but the agitator will not work. Could I have done something to the agitator to keep it from working? Is the $250.00 trans now broke? Please tell me this is't so.........

Hi,
What did you take apart when you replaced the snubber ring? Can you turn the transmission pulley by hand?
