I have a Samsung refrig My freezer was working fine but my refrig side was 50 so I took of my panel in the refrig and found out the evaporator was all iced up. That worked. Now four weeks later it happened again so i did the same thing . While i had it apart i checked my heater with a ohm meter for continuity. It was fine.so I put all back together plugged in the refrig and this time the front display would not light up except for a half of a digit which flashes. The compressor does not run. I cannot see why just by unplugging the refrig this happened and does anyone know what the foam pieces do on the sides of the evaporator separateing the heater and the coil.
