How hard is it to replace the lower heating element on my oven?

Turn the power off to the range. Remove the two screws at the ends of the element that hold it to the cavity, then slowly pull it toward you until you see the connectors on the ends. Then remove the connectors and install on the new element. If the wires come loose, then you will need to remove the rear panel to put them back on.
