Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 3/21/2012(UTC) Posts: 1		I have a GE top load washer that will not pump water or spin. It will fill , wash and agitate but stops at the spin cycle. It will go through rinse cycle (if manually selected), but just will not pump the water out and spin.

You can cut off the wires from the lid switch and connect them together for the test only. Make sure that connection is insulated properly. Run the washer to see how it will work.
