Normal and cancel light blinking continuously. Seems like some wire might have gotten hot? What should I look for I am against calling a tech out... Please help

I am having the same problem, my cancel light is blinking and nothing else will turn on, mine is a Kenmore, did you have any luck yet??

Tech sheet includes how to interpret lights, run diagnostics and also how to test the keypad for a stuck key using a meter.

First thing to try is remove power to the unit for half an hour or so just to see if it will reset.
