What is the normal temperature for any electric dryer? When should you be concerned with the temperature? Does it vary by brand?

Most new dryers run ABOUT 135-150 degrees at the outlet, some of the older ones ran as hot as 165degrees. This is NO vent hose, NO cloths!!!! If its over these # replace the CYCLING THERMOSTAT!!!!!:)

If its 180, your very close to having a FIRE!!!!!!!!! If the airflow is good and your sure the vent is clear, then replace the thermostat.:)
