The sprayer arms will not spin. I have cleaned out the arms and they spin freely by hand. You can see that the water is coming out, it is just not spinning anymore. Please help.

Most likely the problem is a clogged filter (#6 on the diagram) and a clogged rinse arm assembly (#7 on the diagram). You have to remove the lower spray arm and the pump cover to access these parts. Gene.

Does this filter need to be replaced or just cleaned? I have cleaned it in the past but have never replaced it. Thank You for your help.

You do not have to replace it if it's not damaged and is completely open. Soak in white vinegar and clean with a soft brush.

Is it necessary to remove the filter (#6) in order to effectively clean it? I am trying to remove the screw(#12) but the impeller assy (#14) just spins and I am unable to loosen the screw. Is there something I need to do in order to remove the screw? Thanks in advance for any/all help.

You do not have to remove this screw. You went too deep. The filter (#6) just pulls up.
