I have a GE Profile Spaemaker microwave model number JVM1660WB01. This is a over the range model with a vent fan built in.

Is the magnetron replaceable? I researched the magnetron and it appears several companies will not sell you the part unless their technician comes out and does the work.

The other day smelled a burning smell. I partially removed some of the pannels and could see the connector on the magnetron is black. What parts would need to be replaced on this microwave and how do I get all the way to it to repair?

I've attached a couple of photo's of the connector and the unit.
Any thoughts on the parts I would need?
