While in spin cycle, the water flows constantly instead of intermittently. When this is happening, I unplug the machine and the water stops. Any ideas?

Seems like your timer failed and is not sending voltage to the timer motor. If so, you might try some non-residue cleaning spray to clean the timer contacts. Just turn the timer while doing this. If a plastic timer, just spray in by the opening near the connector.

Thank you for your help, what would you call a "non-residue cleaning spray" WD-40?

NO. WD-40 leaves a coating of thin oil that will eventually burn the contacts. This is a cleaning spray available for electonics and sold at Lowes.

Can you explain more clearly where I am supposed to spray the contact cleaner? Also, I discovered that after the washer enters the rinse/spin cycle, the dial stops moving.

Look for any opening in the timer body, preferably near the connector. Helps to have a spray nozzle also.

Replaced the timer still have the same problem. The timer will not advance. It stops when it gets to the:
SPIN/SPRAY/RINSING 12 MINUTES ^ This is where the dial indicator is

Are you saying the timer stops in rinse and never advances.

Yes. It stops when the water enters the cycle. The water is suppposed to spray off and on, but it only sprays continuously, and the dial does not move.

Sounds like a bad timer. If you have a meter, the timer motor is supposed to get voltage during spin and turn the timer dial.
