Hello, My first time posting, I have roper wall oven and the ignitor will not lite. I have replaced the ignitor and still have the same problem, It will not lite. The biggest problem is parts are hard to find for a 27 year old wall oven. I was wondering if it could be the control valve?? I am trying to fix it because it is still in good shape. Any and all info or ideas would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks in Advance, Jim

You need to take a voltage reading across the igniter and see if you are getting 120vac when a cycle is started. If you don't have voltage, then it's time to look at the control/thermostat as a possible problem. There is an off chance the valve could be the problem but you need to verify voltage first, and then move on to the rest of the circuit.
