I have a Frigidaire dishwasher model PLD2855rfc1. The unit is not filling with water. The water valve is open. I also checked the screen filter at the inlet valave. All is clear. Can you provide any recommendations?

Here are your parts. Replacement parts for FRIGIDAIRE PLD2855RFC1 Frigidaire/dishwasher | AppliancePartsPros.comHow do you know that the water inlet valve is open or are you referring to the water shut off valve in the plumbing? If the water inlet valve is open then there must be a plug between it and the inlet port on the side of the dishwasher tub. I have never see a plug here. Does the valve get 120 volts when it is supposed to open. If not check the overflow mechanism. Could be the float is stuck in the up position so that the switch is not activated and the unit thinks it is already over filled. If it does get 120 volts and there is not a plug upsteam of the valve then I would replace the valve. |
