Door was leaking so I ordered gasket and replaced it. The door still leaks. Latch is tight. Help!

Did you see a lot of suds inside the dishwasher?

How much is too much suds? I see suds in bottom. I'm using the same dishwasher detergent I've always used.

If you see a bubbles, that's wrong.

It can be if you used too much of rinse aid or you did rinse dishes prior to load the dishwasher using a hand dishwashing soap.

Hello Gene.....In refererence to the suds...we changed float thinking it was causing our front door leakage problem...ran a cycle...water still coming from each side of front door panel. I opened the door and saw suds up to the heating element.....this was with no dishes in the dishwasher and no soap in the dispenser. I've been using Melaleuca Diamond Brite Dishwashing Detergent (liquid) for several years now with no problem. Wondering if there is a soap buildup...or what else I can check. A new door gasket was replaced several months ago by a technician. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks for your help.

Gene,
Thank you so much for your advice. I finally had a professional look at it....
It definitely was too many suds. He explained what happens in that case. I did my first load yesterday with no soap...dishes were clean...and suds almost gone. I've been using Melaleuca liquid for dishwashers...and apparently too much...for almost 3 years now. I'm not sure why it started doing this now, other than buildup. I'm switching to Cascade powder. Thanks again.

You are welcome ALLB. I would recommend to use tablets instead of powder.

Gene.
