Hello all
Just a querie in regards to an E3 error message that I have got on my MAYTAG dishwasher. Has anyone got an idea on what that means short of getting an overpriced tradie in?

The model number you posted does not come up. Is it American model?

Hi
I experienced the same E3 error some weeks back. I called the repair man and a circuit board was replaced. All has been well until today when it did the E3 again. Hopefully it was a one off error, if not I'll be looking for competition to the original repair firm used.
I have the manual and the error details are as follows -
E1
Cause: Water supply switched off. Remedy: Switch off appliance. Turn on water supply. Reset the cycle.
E2
Cause: Problem with electronic temperature control. Remedy: Call service for assistance.
E3
Cause: The water heater element does not work properly or the filter mesh is blocked. Remedy: Clean the filter mesh and if the problem continues please contact service
E4
Cause: The appliance does not discharge water. Remedy: Check that the discharge hose is not bent, syphon is not blocked, filters are not blocked.
Hope that helps!
