I am wondering if you would be kind enough to tell me how to remove the front panel so that I can replace the broken belt?
The instructions say: "raise dryer top and remove front panel"
How is this done?
Thank you in advance,

Always unplug an appliance before working on it. The top can be a little tricky to "raise". Try using something like a screwdriver to pry the top up a little in from the front corners. Be careful not to chip the finish. When the lid is up you'll see the type of clips that are holding the front on. The drum rotates on the lip on the front panel. So when you remove the front the drum will come loose. Be careful. The belt will go around the drum and will loop around the motor pulleys. Hope this helped.

Dear Jimreaper,
Thank you so much:) I removed the front panel and located the drum, motor, pullys, etc. However, since the belt was already broken, I did not see how the pully idler arm was positioned. We did a great job disassembling the dryer, now all I need is advice to put it back together :)
HELP !!!

I got a response from somebody saying that I gave you the wrong instructions. That's how I recall doing it. Anyway, be sure that you put the belt on the drum first and reassemble the drum and cabinet assembly. From what I remember last time I did one of these there should be a bottom access panel in the front. With everything back together the belt will be hanging down. It will need to be looped around the drive pulley on the motor. There is an idler pulley that should be spring-loaded. It will probably need to be moved to the side so that when it is released it will put tension on the belt. I'm writing this from memory. It's been a few years since I've done one of these. Hope this helps.

Dear jimreaper,
You rock !!! The dryer is reassembled and it works !!! It's funny, when I sat down to write to you, there were the directions that came with the part, sitting right next to the computer...just like the ones you gave me...
Thank you so much for your great advice :)))
