Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 12/1/2011(UTC) Posts: 3		Frigidaire Afinity Model AE06000ES2 electric dryer stops immediately after start button is pressed. Drum turns ~1/8 rotation in heat mode then stops, but does spin in "air fluff/no heat" mode.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 7/24/2007(UTC) Posts: 2,277		I would check the block were the dryer cord connects to the back of the dryer and make sure the screws are tight, unplug it first. ;) Could also be a timer problem.

Took dryer apart and tested the 2 thermostats, they are funcitoning properly. Had them verified by a local parts store.
