Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 11/30/2011(UTC) Posts: 2		kenmore 80 110.72982110 Won\'t drain or spin. Timer was at off. I tried spin only cycle and water level dropped but no spinning. Eventually most of the water drained and I could get it to spin but not drain any further. 1st thing I checked was lid switch. It was OK. Ohm test switch and jumped wires. Not the switch. I removed the hoses to the pump and could not find any obstruction. This is an old kenmore 80 and I don\'t want to start replacing parts to find out which one is bad. Do you have any idea what the problem might be?

Water pump suspect. take it out and look inside for broken/worn down impeller blades.
