I'm not really sure how old the machine is and is there a place where I can find out by the model number or serial number?
I think it is probably the timer that is out on the machine but want to be pretty sure before ordering the part. The machine will fill and agitate but stops before it starts to drain and spin. I have moved the dial around to several different position and only the wash cycle will engage and then it stops shortly after.
From what I have read online that seems to be what the problem would be. Does anyone have any advice on how to be sure if the timer is the problem. I don't really want to start spending money if I am not pretty sure that it will fix it.
Please help with any suggestions. Pat

I would look more at the pump to see if there is an obstruction and the pump is working. That's what it sounds like to me. Here's a parts breakdown Model LSQ8543JQ0Nat
