need help in troubleshooting ice and water unit. I turned the water supply off and removed the water inlet valve and checked it for being clogged, everything looked okay, checked water supply line and water pressure is excellent. reinstalled water inlet valve and water supply line, everything worked great for about two hours. Could the water inlet valve be bad and how do I check it.

thanks

Does it work or it stopped? If it is fine now then do not do anything.

Check if there is 120VAC to the water dispenser solenoid on the water valve while the dispenser calls for water. Post the results.

Check the freezer door switch and if there is nothing wrong then the problem most likely a bad micro switch(es) inside the dispenser.

Which solenoid? You posted earlier that it was just 67VAC?
