ordered middle spray arm and supply tube kit...when you put the split ring onto the supply tube, it doesn't fit all the way into the hole in the spray arm...are you supposed to jam it in there? the notice with the parts said to use all parts..help!:confused:

If the part you called "split ring" is the bearing ring (#1 on the break down diagram) then it should be connected to the supply tube as shown on the diagram. The spray arm should spin free after everything assembled. Gene.

yes, thank you, that's the part, however it doesn't "lock" all the way down into the spray arm....is that how it's supposed to be?
