I have an electric kitchenaid dryer that suddenly stopped working. I am trying to find where the fuses go and the manuals are not helping. Does anyone know where the fuses might be, where to buy one, and how to install? The dryer makes a humming noise when the start button is pressed, does not turn or apparently heat. thanks for the help.

sounds like you may have a bad motor. the humming is the motor trying to start. try this tape in the door switch and push the start button and turn you basket by hand to see if it starts.

Hi Sarah I agree with the okbobcats opinion. Most likely the problem is a bad start winding on the motor. The motor - The part number for the motor AP3094245Good luck. Gene.
