Would love Part Numbers and step by step guidlines for fixing a door that won;t stay shut. I have reviewed other threads but was hopefull to get specific help for this model. Thanks in advance.

Most likely the problem is a bad door hinge (maybe both hinges).

Remove the door as described in the Owners manual (page 13).

Put the door on a flat surface with the door handle facing down. Remove the screws holding the inner door liner and remove the liner. Follow the break down diagram.

- The part number for the door hinge is (they are identical) AP3080711

Here are the break down diagrams for the Whirlpool oven Model RBS305PDQ10

OK Gene..after your help with my dishwasher earlier this year I am ready to order the hinges. I assume I order two. (They do not come in pairs I beleive) Another question before I order the hinges. The light used to go off if I wiggled the door shut..now it never goes off and I can't figure out where the "switch" or the sensor is in the oven. Any help here would br much appreciated. Heymate

Boot removal.doc (916kb) downloaded 121 time(s).

The manual says to insert door removal pins in a hole. I see nowhere I could put these ?? Sorry to be a dummy. :(

The light switch is a part of the door latch assembly (the pin on the left side).
