Freezer works fine, fridge not cooling. Ruled out defrost timer. Trying to figure out if it's defrost thermostat or heater, but cant find diagram to locate them or troubleshooting techniques:(

Sorry but I do not follow the above.
If the freezer is fine, why do you think it is a defrost problem?
Freezer should be 0 to 5 degrees F.
Are the evaporator coils in the freezer heavily iced/frosted up t the point where the evaporator fan cannot pull air through them. This would be a defrost problem.
Is the evaporator (freezer) fan running it is required to push cold air into the fresh food side?
Is the diffuser/damper (Item 24 in Section 2) open?
Is the louver (Item 4 in Section 2) clear on both sides. this is normally a vent between the compartments and must be clear for proper air flow between tem?
