First, oven stopped working. Found a wire that had been bared (maybe by mouse), and the oven (bottom) ignitor was open. Replaced ignitor, now "clean" light flashes, and oven will not try to light. Terminals at back of thermostat do not change voltage when turning thermostat to bake. Funny thing is that it did read voltage when I was diagnosing the ignitor. Did I do something?

It was one of the leads for the igniter. So I transfered it to the new igniter and taped it up. It had continuity through it, so I don't think there were any breaks.

Check the position of the door lock. Check the door lock switch and the wires. Here are the break down diagrams for the GE range Model LGB356BEA1ADGene.

That was it. Some insulation had migrated (maybe by mouse) around the switch. I poked around the switch, and bingo! I need to get in there and clean up the insulation better, but can't see best how to do it. I tried taking the front knob face off, but the three screws that I thought held it on didn't release it. Almost done now! At least we can bake dinner tonight!
