My Maytag dryer still works fine but from the moment I turn it on and the tub starts to tumble it sounds like a car with blown bearings. It getting louder with each use. Could really use some advice on this.
Thanks, Pattianne

Here is your parts breakdown Model LDE6914ACEHere is a service manual http://www.servicematters.com/m...ibrary/docs/16008714.pdfOften a rumbling is the rear support bearings. Open it up and check and replace as necessary the following Rear support roller bearings and shafts Idler roller and shaft Also while open you might as well check/replace the following Front glides Drum seals Belt Blower Wheel Give the interior a good cleaning including the blower wheel While you are at it clean and check the vent system You basically when finished will have an overhauled unit. |
