The washer will run a cycle ok but then restarts the cycle. If the door is closed it will restart itself randomly trying to rerun the last cycle. Keeping the door open is the only way to disable the beast. The cancel button seems to work but then eventually the cycle begins again.

Did you see any lights on the control panel blinking?

Gene. Yes, the Normal Cycle light randomly comes on by itself and the last time we tried to run a cycle the Normal Cycle light was flashing at about a 1 cps rate. It would not complete the cycle but with multiple cancels we eventually got it to drain. Alex

Looks like the Normal Cycle pad is stuck. The control panel has to be replaced. In order to provide the right part number I need the color of the control panel.

The control panel color is "Biscuit". Thanks Gene for your input on this problem. Is there a tech sheet or some reference that would provide some clues on the change out of the control panel?
Alex

Alex, The part number for the console is AP3176439 Open the door and remove all screws around the inner panel. Remove the inner panel. Remove the control board cover. Remove the control panel ribbon from the control board. Gene.

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
