My GE Potscrubber Dishwasher will not cycle through the wash cycles.
-The knob is not stuck and the washer will cycle through if you turn manually.
-I checked the timer connections all attached and no corrosion.
-I do not have meter so can not check
-I checked the water and it appears hot
-The washer will cycle through the Heated Dry cycle and dries appropriately?

Can it be anything other than the timer? I have located timer on the internet for about $75. Washer is old but I do not want to replace if I can fix for under $100.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Roho,

Most likely the problem is a bad timer and you can buy it from Appliance Parts Pros for $68.45

- The part number for the timer is AP2039702

Here are the break down diagrams for GE dishwasher Model GSD3610Z05AA

You are welcome. I'm glad you were able to fix it.
