My fridge is not cooling in the refrigerator section, the freezer seems fine. The evaporation fan never turns on, I have some frost build-up behind the panel in the freezer. The vents from the top to bottom are all open. I manually turned the defrost controller and the heat bar in the freezer came on. What's up?

So I changed the defrost control and that did not fix the problem. Should I change the defrost fan assembly? I can't find the control board either, where the heck is that thing, does my fridge even have one?

You have no control board. Replace the evaporator motor AP4318644
