My Whirlpool dryer will no power up the light still comes on inside, but nothing else will work. The dryer started to act funny, beeping for no reason and then it just shut off and will not power back up. Any ideas?

I assume the keyboard is totally dead no lights at all and nothing works.
First thing to check would be the door switch to ensure the control board is getting power.

The beeping is troublesome so I would also unplug and reconnect all plugs on the control board. Might not hurt to clean them if you have some electronics cleaner or isopropyl alcohol and a tooth brush.

Unfortunately I think your control board has bit the dust

It is the thermal fuse, it is mounted on the blower housing. Take the bottom panel off, and stick your head in on the right side, and look hard left, right on the vent pipe, there are 2 parts, it is the one farther from you. Tom
