Remove the kickplate and check the wires to the fill valve and float switch Part number: AP4429566
Part number: AP4502060
and make sure none of the wires have been dislodged or broken/damaged, and the float stem is activating the switch when the tub is empty. Then replace the fill valve if all checks are OK. Good Luck, :) :) :)

Your Float and switch assembly are located in the left front corner, on the bottom of the tub interior, the round object in the coner. I f you slowly and carefully lift and drop the float, you should hear a slight clicking noise, when the switch is activated(down) and deactivated(up). Your fill valve is located in the same area, but you will need to remove the lower panels from the front of the dishwasher to access it, There will be a hartness with two wires that plug onto the terminals of the fill valve, And two wires that attach to the float assembly switch directly above the fill valve. You'll need to check the wires and the switch for proper connections, and operation. :) :) :)
