I had trouble getting the dishes clean a couple years ago and called a technician. He came out and replaced a screen in the water line. He said the old one was full of rust.
The same problem is now occurring again. The owner's manual does not show any screen and I looked on the web and found diagrams for the dishwasher but do not find a screen. I thought the screen he replaced was down in the bottom of the unit. The part numbers he used were:

Thanks!

Here is your parts breakdown Model DW860BTake a look at #2 in the "Tub" section There is a filter screen built into the inlet side of the valve. Turn the water off, remove the valve and clean/check it. If it cannot be cleaned you will have to replace the valve. Do not run without the screen, it is there to prevent crud from getting into the valve, holding it open and causing a flood. Also a good idea to drain some water from your hot water tank. Use the pressure release or the drain. Let it run until the water is runs clear. |

Thanks for the tip. I was wondering about that. I think that valve is mounted in the bottom left hand corner of the tub even though the diagram shows is up top.
Thank you!
