I have a Jenn-Air dishwasher model no. DW861UQP. Recently, it has stopped advancing in the wash sequence. When I turn the rotary know to wash, I can hear water flowing into the machine, but that just continues indefinitely. If I manually advance the cycle to rinse, or to dry, it will stay there indefinitely as well. I have never had any other problems with the dishwasher. So far, I have turned on and off the circuit breaker to the dishwasher, I have turned off the "Accutemp" button, and I have preheated my tap before turning on the dishwasher. That didn't help. I then removed the timer and tested the continuity between the two black wires and came up with 2,280 ohms. That seems about right, but my best guess is still that there is a problem with the Timer (part nos. AP4010023 or AP4113949). Before I buy the timer, I would appreciate any help in diagnosing the problem. Please let me know if any additional information would be useful. Thanks much.
