Kenmore Elite model ice maker quit making ice. The arm was in the no ice position for several months. When moved back to the make ice position, non has been since. it's been several weeks now and still no ice. Everything else works fine. Does anyone no what the problem might be? Thanks in advance.

Possible the "on-off" switch in the ice maker stuck in "off" position. Try to jiggle the arm up and down. If it would not help then the ice maker has to be replaced.

- The part number for the ice maker is AP178365
