Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 9/4/2011(UTC) Posts: 3		My Kenmore (Amana) 596.73509201 refrigerator/freezer is cold but not cold enough to freeze ice. I've confirmed the thermostat setting in the freezer is set to "COLDEST" and the evaporator coil inside the freezer is not frozen over. Any ideas what could be wrong and/or what I should do next?

If hot and the condenser coils very warm, you probably have a bad compressor.
