Ice maker doesnt seem to be getting water to it but there is water coming out of water dispensor. When hooking up water line I noticed there were two different places you could use one the male threaded fitting same size as a water hose the other, what i am used to seeing, same size as water line. Why two and which one should i use?

Your refrigerator's water valve is a dual valve; one side is for the fountain, and the other for the ice maker. Looking at the direction the hoses go, it should be fairly obvious as to which one feeds the ice maker.

There are a couple good ways to test to see if the valve works. Probably the safest way is to remove the ice maker and set it aside, being careful not to spill any water that may be in the ice mold.

Expose the valve, and, since you know that the fountain (water dispenser) already works, exchange the electrical connections to the valve.

Place a cup or other container under the fill tube that feeds the ice maker, to catch any water.

Close the door switch and momentarily depress the water lever on the fountain.

If you get water in the cup, the valve is good; the problem is the ice maker. If you don't get water, the valve is bad. Replace the valve.

Don't forget to replace the valve's electric connectors the way they started.

Thanks So Much! If the valve is bad is it possible to switch the water dispenser one to the ice maskers and do without the fountain?

You can do this. But you have to swap the hoses coming from the valve to the unit; and swap the electric connectors. Take a digital picture first, and label the hoses, so that you can replace everything properly, when you get the replacement part.
