My washer shows no sign of power,the timer will not run any cycles and will not fill with water,any suggestions?:(

Check for continuity between the "L1" & "SW" terminals on the lid switch (#3 on the break down diagram). Replace the lid switch if the circuit is open. - The part number for the lid switch is AP3159413 Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag Atlantis washer Model MAV7257AWWGene.
