If you have a frost build up on the back wall of the freezer, close to the bottom, you would need an adaptive defrost control. It is located in the refrigerator top section. The part # is 61005988. Tom ApplianceEducator.com

I have frost building up in the freezer, replaced the adaptive control timer and i still have the problem. any Ideas. The new timer has a light that just continues to blink normal no fault. I short the first two pins and put it into defrost mode. You can hear it defrosting but never finishes and the adaptive control timer start clicking until I remove power from the fridge.
