KitchenAid Superba Model KSCS25FKSS00. My freezer is cold, coils cold, freezer fan blowing, but refrigerator is warm. In the last few weeks we alternated between freezing lettuce in the crisper to spoiling milk. I replaced the diffuser, but no change. There are three wires to the diffuser, presumably positive, negative, and ground. What is the voltage on each lead? How can I isolate if the old/new diffuser is defective, or the controller needs to be replaced?

samand,
Looks like this is not American model, so I could not find any technical information.
You may want to check the door seal and make sure the interior light goes off when the door is closed.

Hello! I have a Whirlpool (kitchenaide) side by side, ksrp25f. we were not so smart moving it and broke the light switch in the control panel on the fridge side. There are a couple of local parts places that I am going to try to get a part today. ( AP2967092 ) I have unscrewd the control panel in 4 places, 2 were philips heads, the other were those hexagon ones. I can not get the control panel completly off so I can replace the switch. How do I get the control panel off when its still attached.... I can get it open enough that I can see where the switch would go. Can I just slide the new switch into place, or is there more work envolved in it. Thanks for your help!

After you removed ALL mounting screws you should be able to drop the control panel. DO NOT forget to unplug the refrigerator before you'll do anything.

Gene: thanks for your help. the refer kicked back on the next day after the diffuser was installed. I never could get the diagnostic menu to work. there were 4 lights on the right, but cycling through the menu didn't look like it worked right. Gint

KitchenAid Model KBFC42FTS02
Yesterday both freezer and fridge were running warm, 14F/45F or so, I turned cooling on/off a few times and rearranged food in freezer in case there was an air flow blockage. Before I went to bed freezer was at 0F but fridge still around 47F. This morning after running undisturbed all night, freezer still at 0F, fridge at 50F...YIKES!
Freezer fan seems to be blowing fine, but air is barely (if at all) blowing out of diffuser in top left of fridge, and air flow feels the same whether door is open or door is "closed" (by holding light switch levers closed).

My Kenmore refrigerator kept making weird noises, I tried looking up different forums but decided on settling for hiring a technician to do the job. Came across this website www.LacityAppliance.com they seemed to have best rates out there, and after securing the motor my fridge was running smooth again!
