I had to replace a water actuator and when I reinstalled the unit in the door, the ice maker keeps pushing ice out of the ice maker door. The mechanical parts are all free and not sticking. I did drop the unit (only three feet) on the floor while I was removing the water line. I called Frigidaire and they felt that it could be a short in the control board or the power board. At around $140.00 each, can someone tell me which one it might be.
Thanks, Ed

Ed,

You're sure all the linkage and actuators and switches are aligned and working proper.

Check and make sure the switch board,

Part number: AP3960058
Part number: AP3960058

Did not get dislodged fron the escutcheon, or cracked, damaged when you dropped it.

If there's nothing visibly wrong, replace the switch board.

Good Luck,
:) :) :)
