My bottom freezer trio fridge is not cooling down. It is set at 60 and I can't get it cooler. The freezer seems to work fine as it is at 0. What do I do? I have no idea what to do? Any help would be appreciated. The appliance is only 2 years old.

Hi jessibadillo
There are three things which could cause a such problem: improper defrosting, a bad evaporator fan or a bad dumper control.
The first thing I would check is a snow on the back panel inside the freezer. Check it and post the result.
Gene.

I checked the back panel and there is no snow. There isn't any condensation built up.

have you checked to see if the evaperator fan motor is turning. just have a listen at the back of your freezer. if the fan is blowing, you'll hear it, if not you have a bad dampener.

I checked and I can't hear the fan going. How much would that cost to have someone fix it? Do you know? Just so I don't get ripped off.....

i have to correct my self, if the fan motor is not turning more than likely, it is bad not the dampener. your model # dosn't seem to be a good #. this is a repair that is relatily easy for the do it your selfer. the costs that a local shop that could do this repair will vary from area to area. so it is one you might want to try to tackel it yourself. great boost for yourself :-). please post your results
