Started to fill dishwasher with water then stoped and would not continue to wash dishies. seems like motor is stuck???

Gene. Thanks for responding, all you can hear is the timer making noise, could it be the door latch or motor.

Check the door switches. Check if there is 120VAC to the motor (using the wiring diagram) while the timer calls for wash and/or drain. Check the motor windings. Here are the break down diagrams for the Maytag dishwasher Model MDB6000AWWGene.
