Rank: Member Groups: Registered Joined: 7/2/2011(UTC) Posts: 1		I am pretty sure a(or two) small pea gravel size rock(s) got in with my laundry. I was washing the items two times and the washer did drain once. The agitator does work but makes a grinding noise. I tried to drain/spin and also got the grinding noise. I am wanting to remove the agitator to see if I can retrieve the rock. I printed the agitator, basket and tub parts schematic. Does the lid(#1) just pop off. I have successfully repaired this(my husband actually does the repair) machine three other times with online help. Can you help me now? I would like to make this machine(combo washer dryer) last a little longer.

Rank: Advanced Member Groups: Senior Expert Joined: 3/29/2009(UTC) Posts: 11,699		The cap will pry off, then there should be another plastic cap under that and then a 7/16" bolt which will come out. The agitator can now be lifted out of the machine.
