Excessive vibration when in the spin cycle. I must constantly rebalance load. I opened the front of the washer and checked springs,there OK. Did find a white powder under tub, a very fine dust.

This Ring is most likely your problem. It is located aon the base below the tub. nat

Thanks for the fast repair assessment. I have ordered the friction ring, can you give me some info on the replacement of this part, service manual info?

I had to remove the front and top of washer, lean top against the wall. Removed pump inlet and outlet hoses. I made a hook with handle to remove the springs. I lifted the tub and my wife slide in the new friction ring. Vacuumed the dust from old ring, reassembled washer. It works OK now. Thanks again.
