Bill,

A good guess, would be a weak or bad glow bar igniter, on the bake burner.

But, you saind the igniter won't glow, so it could also be a bad relay on the clock, or broken wire.

With a proper and complete model number, we could assist you more efficiently.

:) :) :)

Bill,

Yes, the igniter is located in the same general area and is mounted similar to the broil igniter.

Here is the part number you need for the bake burner igniter,

Part number: AP2014008
Part number: AP2014008

You'll need to remove the oven racks, and the oven bottom panel to access it, and, with the oven door removed, it's a lot easier.

If you can get access to a multimeter, when you disconnect the two(2)wires from the igniter, if you can attach the meter leads to the two(2) wires coming from the cabinet harness, you should be able to read 120 VAC across the wires when you program the control for a Bake cycle, that will confirm if we have a good relay on the control.

Let us know how things work out.

Good Luck,

:) :) :)
