Rats got into the washer. They chewed through the inlet water line and the line the pressure line that controls the fill level sensor. I replaced the pressure line with clear tubing I got from Lowe's, exact length, approximate ID diameter. I connected the line to the pressure regulator, blew into the line and heard the switch open (close)? I then pinched the line and connected the bottom to the washer drum. I turn on the washer - there are no leaks, but the washer will not stop filling. :( How do I correct this?

You have to replace it with the original part only. Also when you blew into the line, you can damage the water level switch. What is the complete model number of the washer? Gene.

Gene. Thanks Gene, you are completely correct. When I replaced the makeshift hose with the original part replacement the washer worked like a champ! I thought the hose was the problem, but at the time I could not get my hand on an original part, so I tried to get by with a "similar" clear hose. Thanks for your reply!
