I have a Jenn-Air model SVE47500 oven with membrane touch pads on the control panel. The Cancel/Off touchpad began working intermittently a couple weeks ago and has now stopped working altogether. The other touchpads work fine. I have opened up the control panel and see a ribbon cable connecting the motherboard to something inaccessible inside the panel, which I assume is the back side of the touchpads. To repair this, do I have to: 1. replace the motherboard (appears simple) 2. replace the ribbon cable (not sure how to do this since the inside of the control panel appears inaccessible) 3. repair/replace the Cancel/Off touchpad (not sure how to do this either) 4. replace the entire control panel Thanks for the advice before I have to resort to calling a repair person.
