range top burners are ok, broiler will lite & works fine.
however, when choosing the bake setting the following happens;
ignighter will glow and temp increases very s-l-o-w-l-y with a moderate smell of gas. No flames from burner. Temp change from 75 to 110 degrees takes 15-20 minutes.
Any ideas?
Thanks
Chris

you might have a problem with the ignitor. the best way to check it is to visualy inspect it. look for a spot on the ignitor that is ashy in apperanceif this is the case. just replace it out. good luck and post your results

Hi KMEDARIS Most likely the problem with your oven is a bad igniter. Let me explain how it works: The igniter is wired in series with the burner valve. When the thermostat calls for heat, line voltage is applied to the circuit. As the igniter begins to glow, the current increases. The current flow causes the valve to open when the igniter becomes bright red (almost white). Flat igniters operate from 3.2 to 3.6 amps. In your case the current is less then 3.2 amps and even it does glow it does not open the gas valve. Replacing the igniter should solve the problem. - The part number for the new igniter AP3008600 Good luck. Gene.

Your advice was right on, it was the igniter and it was very easy to replace. I ordered it one day & had it the next.
What more can you ask for.
Thanks
